Account controls / Permanent action

Delete your Marnie account.

Account deletion is permanent. Here is the verified path, what the current app removes, and what you need to cancel separately.

Deletion options

Delete in the app

This is the fastest route and completes the authenticated deletion flow.

  1. 1.Open Marnie and go to Profile.
  2. 2.Scroll to the account actions and tap Delete Account.
  3. 3.Review the warning, type DELETE, then confirm permanent deletion.

What the current deletion flow removes

Your authentication account and account-linked profile

Account-linked subscription cache, feature usage, and AI quota records

Cloud Backup objects and their account metadata

RevenueCat webhook rows matched to your Marnie account identifier

Contributor-level merchant observations, events, outcomes, and reputation

Local Marnie financial, capture, notification, and merchant-learning tables

Before you delete

  • Cancel store billing separately. Deleting Marnie does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
  • Deletion cannot be undone. The current app does not provide a 30-day recovery period after the deletion succeeds.
  • Shared merchant results can remain. Marnie removes your contributor records and recalculates results, but a de-identified directory entry may remain when other contributors independently support it.
  • Android permission is separate. The cleanup disables Marnie’s notification capture session, but Android Notification Access can still be revoked in the device’s system settings.

For more detail about storage, AI processing, merchant learning, and retention, read the Marnie Privacy Policy.
